FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

HOW DO WE KNOW THAT HIGHSEAS HEALTHY FOODS PRODUCTS ARE SAFE FOR CONSUMPTION?

First, all our products are sourced from reputable food manufacturers, meat processors or importers who have the necessary HALAL certification and at times, HACCP certification as well.  For frozen seafood products, such as salmon, they are machine cut and vacuum packed frozen for freshness and cleanliness. All frozen products are stored in a coldroom of minus 18 deg Celsius while chilled products are kept in a chiller at 3-4 deg Celsius.

ARE ALL PRODUCTS FROM HIGHSEAS HEALTHY FOODS HALAL CERTIFIED?

Poultry and meats are all processed by our suppliers and importers in keeping with the requirements of HALAL certification.

HOW DO WE PLACE AN ORDER?

To place an order, simply go to our website and browse the list of products available. Once you made your selection, send us a Whatsapp message to 012 320 6255 (Anna). We will provide you with a simple order form for you to fill out with your preferred items, quantity and delivery details. We will then check on delivery slot availability and advise on the charges required. An invoice will be sent by Whatsapp message to you.  Please remit the payment and send us the bank in slip. Do remember to note the Invoice no as the reference. Then, the order will be processed and delivery arranged.

HOW CAN I MAKE PAYMENT?

Our business model is based on cashless transactions which means that you have to pay via instant online bank transfer. Please provide us with a screenshot of the proof of payment either via Whatsapp (012 320 6255) or by email (highseashealthyfoods@gmail.com). We do not accept cash, credit card, cheque or interbank Giro (requires 2 days for payment confirmation).

WHAT AREAS DO YOU DELIVER TO?

Currently we will service the following areas : Subang Jaya, Bandar Sunway, Putra Heights, Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam, Bandar Kinrara, Bandar Puteri Puchong, Petaling Jaya, Bangsar, Bukit Kiara and Sri Hartamas. We hope to expand our delivery areas soon, so please check our website for updates.  If your area is not listed above, do check with us anyway to see if we are able to accommodate your request.

HOW MUCH IS YOUR DELIVERY CHARGE?

We use third party delivery services for our delivery runs. Each delivery charge starts from RM 5 and above. Rates are estimated at RM 5 for the first 5 KM (from our factory), followed by RM 1 for every additional kilometer. Bear in mind these rates are for motorcycle deliveries. Should you order a large quantity that is unable to fit on a bike, we will then arrange for a larger vehicle to make the delivery run which will incur additional charges. You will be informed when the invoice is presented.

IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER FOR DELIVERY?

The minimum delivery order is RM100 per trip per destination.

AM I ABLE TO ARRANGE FOR SELF COLLECTION FOR THE ORDERED GOODS?

Due to Covid-19, we are unable to permit any self collection. This is a preventive measure against possible infection that will threaten the health of our staff. Even our suppliers and delivery teams are not permitted to enter our premises. They load and unload at a designated loading bay area just outside our premises.

WHAT ARE YOUR DELIVERY SLOTS?

Delivery slots are available from Monday to Friday, 10.30 AM - 4.30 PM. Please indicate your preferred delivery date and time to secure a slot. Upon confirmation, these slots cannot be changed. Please ensure that there is someone present to receive the goods.

WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME REQUIRED TO RECEIVE THE GOODS ONCE AN ORDER HAS BEEN PLACED?

To be safe, please allow for 2 working days lead time from payment to fulfill your order.

CAN I RETURN GOODS THAT ARE SOILED, DAMAGED OR PAST THEIR EXPIRY DATE?

All goods are inspected and packed properly before delivery and so all goods sold are not returnable. Once the items leave our factory, the delivery person will send them immediately to your address. We will ensure that there is sufficient ice to keep these items frozen or chilled.

HOW LONG CAN THE FROZEN ITEMS BE KEPT?

All frozen items can be kept in your freezer for almost 12 months depending on the condition of your freezer temperature which changes with the aging of the fridge. However, as a rule, it is advisable to consume the products within 3 - 4 months.
